It has not provided solution to my query as it says you need to uncheck once and then it will not show you the massage again.

I want to permanantly disable it, please help!!

-Download the file and save it on your computer
-Go to Office Menu-->Excel Options-->Add-ins-->Go-->Browse
-Navigate to the file and select it
-Make sure the box is checked next to "Disable Compatibility Checker" and click OK

Dear Prakash

In Excel 2007 all files which were saved in older version is showing as 'Compitability mode'. To revove this mode just save the file in the new version (excel 2007). Hope your problem is solved.

If u wanna disable 'Compitability mode' for a particular file just click on the window button on the top left corner, click on prepare, click on Run Compitability Checker & remove tick from the check box.
