I want to know more about the MIP/MIS Mutual Funds. One such MF has the below performance history:

3 months 4.9
6 months 13.4
1 year 21.8
2 years 28.6
3 years 39.1
5 years 56.1
These instruments are supposed to give monthly returns.
In the above example, if I had invested Rs. 100 five years back and exit today, what is my return & what frequency?
