Quick Summary
An employee committee head received a lump sum deposit for all employee salaries and paid them out in cash, deducting TDS under their PAN. The query is how to declare this in a tax return without it being personal income, and which ITR form is appropriate. The suggestion is to declare it under ITR 3 as business income, specifically as a labour contractor, with subordinate salaries being deductible expenses.

Under which head TDS being deducted?

194 c

It can be declared under ITR 3 as business income. (labour contractor). All the salaries paid to subordinates are deductible.

Thank you
