Mistake by not committing sucide....?!!!

Hi all,

I am reading in this site news about students who failed in CA exams committing sucide... (One of them is just 25 yrs of age & he committed sucide for failing in CA Final Exam)...

In this connection i want to share something... I experienced a lot of failure in CA exams.... Took 5 attempts to clear PE-2 & 4 attempts to complete CA Final... ( Cleared Final in Nov 09 exam)

Today i discussed all this with one of my friend... He was with me when all results came... He told:- "When your result came & it is fail, as usual you looked sad for 5 minutes. After that you used to note down which books to buy for next attempt...? What is the last date for submitting exam application...? How much leave to take for exams....? etc etc... But you never discussed about committing sucide...!!! Now students who are just 25 years of age are committing sucide for failing in Exams... I think you must have also committed sucide for completing CA @ 27 years of Age.....!!!!!""

What you say guys....???!!!!!

sir i got pcc failed this time .it was my first attempt. whether there is any such thing that institute pass very rarely in 2nd attempt . my marks also was not so good as because i got frustated before the exam. i made a lot of efforts  but at last  i got failed .one of reason is that i have ahabit of studying from 5-6 books in each subject to get the confidence but at last my mind gets mix up.  so p.ls suggest me way to study

Hi gopal, There is nothing like chances of getting passed is low from second attempt.... It is not true.. I will tell my experince, I got 311 is my final 1st attempt, 347 in second, 397 in thrid (I cleared first group here), got exactly 200 in 4th attempt & completed CA...!!! Regarding books, referring 3-4 books is not at bad... Because, 1 book may be a good for one chapter & another book may be a good for another chapter like dat... But as you told, there is chances of getting confused... So, better to prepare your own notes from those books (specially for theory papers) & read only your notes during exam time... it will help a lot... Regarding practical problems, More books means more problems you can solve... So, referring 3-4 books is always good... But you must develop the habit of not getting confused...

With fire you can either light a lamp or burn a house...!!! So, referring 3-4 books is like that only.... You must know what book to use for which chapter..

Last but not least, Best of Luck

sir,

thank u making such wonderful suggestion . sir as i m doing articleship so i not get enough time for study. though i m solving a lot of question but  a day before this exam nov.2009 of accounts, cost   that i have  done so mny things that i get confused that from which book what i have solved . on that day  i  i got so  tensed  that i got uncosious  for 15 minutes. so pls  providve me any suggestion how can i solve my this problem this may pcc .

1)

pls tell me the way how to write the cases law . conclusion  as i m very bad in such things

2) whether it is mandatory to write word to word  in case of audit, law, it paper

You doing articleship so you not getting time... I am working & studying....!!! For June exam i took only 20 days leave & i cleared first group... For December i took only 15 days leave & cleared second group... Even, some sundays also i had to work... So, problems everyone will have... You have to achieve your goals within your limitations... Ok...? You got unconsious not because of studying lot but becasue of exam fear....!!!! Love & enjoy your study without fear of exam... Nothing will happen then.... ok...?

Case laws you need not mention case law citation (like Mr. X v/s Mr.Y)... If you remember you can write... But if you cant remember, just write your answer followed by:"The court has held a similar view in a recent case"...

Regarding word by word reproduction, we are not xerox machines.... Even examiner knows it... So, just write the answers in a simple language without exact reporduction.... you will surely pass...

& Dont ignore theory in costing paper....

thnks sir i will start my preparation keeping in  mind ur suggestion.

Good yar... Keep this spirit till you qualify.... ok...? Hold your nerves & never get tensed... Another point, since you failed once, all your relatives & others will start asking "You did not clear yet...??" etc etc... Dont get tensed by such comments... i faced similar situation... I kept quiet & concentrated on my studies... Even those who have not completed their 12th std also start commented... I just ignored them.... for this, i got inspiration from Sachin Tendulkar. He is palying from 20 years.. But if he fail to score in one match, all will start telling (including those who have not touched bat in their life) He should retire now... He will never reply a word... but he answers with his bat... So, get inspiration ftom him & answer your critics with your performance in the exam... Go & win... Nobody can stop you from becoming CA.....

Vivek excellent motivation .you are really needed in our club forums to save others from committing suicide
