ONE OF MY CLIENT "RAJESH BANSAL HUF" HAS APPLIED FOR PAN ON 18-08-2008 VIDE ACK NO. 071230200006696 & NSDL HAS ALLOTED PAN IS "AABHR6247M" OUR CLIEN ALSO RECEIVED THE PAN CARD OF SAME DETAIL WE ARE FILING THE ITR WITH ABOVE PAN CARD. CLIENT IS ALSO REGISTERED FOR EFILING OF ITR SINCE SEP 2007 WE HAVE SUCESSFULLY UPLOADED THE ITR. SINCE OUR CLIENT IS UNDER AUDIT HE HAS TO PAY THE INCOME TAX BY NET ONLY. SO WHEN THIS YEAR WE WANT TO PAY THE TAX BY NET WHEN WE ENTER OUR PAN NO ITD DATA BASE SHOWING NAME IS RAKESH BANSAL HUF INSTEAD OF RAJESH BANSAL HUF WHEREAS NSDL WEBSITE SHOWING THE NAME IS RAJESH BANSAL HUF AGAINST ABOVE ACK NO. & HAVING SAME PAN NO. JURIDISTION IS ALSO MISMATCH WHEREAS OUR ASSESSEES IS RESIDING IN THE DISTRIC OF RAIGAD OF MAHARASHTRA WHEREAS ITD DATA BASE SHOWING AGRA OF UP. OUR CLIENT NEVER VISIT AGRA IN HIS LIFE.

THIS QUESTION IS ALSO FORWARDED TO INCOME TAX DEPSRTMENT AT THEIR EMAIL ID ASK @ INCOMETAXINDIA.GOV.IN BUT REPLY FROM THEM IS NOT RECEIVED TILL DATE.

WE ARE FACING VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM PLEASE GUIDE US WHAT WE SHULD DO.

Dear Mr. Jain,

I have also faced the similar problem with my two clients. I contacted the income tax helpline and NSDL through email and telephone but no satisfactory reply was given except that to contact your Jurisdiction officer. I approached ITO also. All just advised me to apply for new PAN card.

Respected sir,

my pan card will change to father name & date of birth . i was sent to courier last month (i am fillup the form & all proofs are enclosed) . but still now no reply . so pls verify my pan card no BAGPK5709M.
