if i am getting a input invoice from a supplier with a HSN. What will happen if my sales invoice HSN code does not match with that of supplier invoice hsn code ?

Personally i think no consequences are there in such case but advisable to consult HSN Code properly.

same item will have only one HSN code.
No Sir.. if we think of a trader...for example : he deals with table fan & ceiling fan. both has diff hsn code. the incoming invoice may be having ceiling fan HSN which came on month july. but he may sell it by december .. he may forget and bill with table fan HSN. both HSN differs.
