How the return of income will be filed When the assessee becomes major during the previous year. Is the income upto the date of minority will be clubbed in the hands of Parent and the income from the date becoming major in his own hands ??

MINOR will file his return on total income
Dear,
As per income tax act return is file for previous year in relevant assessment year. Therefore the staus of assessee will be check at the end of the previous year. If at the end of the previous year he was a major then he will file the return in capacity of major assessee.
