Salary depends on the nature of work carried out by the employee and also the type of company in which you are working. But as per my opinion an you should get around Rs. 20000 to Rs. 25000 per month.

It depends more on your work experience. I have many friends who have completed their articleship and appearing for CA Final.

The lowest that I know is Rs.12,500 per month being received by 1 of my close friend who is yet to clear any group of CA Final (Appeared 3 times in CA Final).

The highest that I know is Rs. 50,000 per month being received by 1 of my close friend who has appeared 4th time this nov and has cleared 1 group. He commanded this pay on the strenght of his articleship experience.

And myself I have cleared all exams in 1st attempt is employed (Passed CA Final in Nov 09). I won't disclose the pay but it is less than Rs. 50,000.

So not all is dependent on degree, your experience, your smartness all counts.

The general standard is Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000.

I reside in Mumbai and all of the above are related to Mumbai.
