there is no minimum req in Costing and FM individually but as a whole you need to get 40 marks to pass the costing-fm paper..it doesn't matter that whether u got 50 in costing and 0 in fm u'll be passed because you secured 50 (>40) marks.

minimum of 40 % in individual papers and a aggregate of 50 % in all

thanks

Dear Ishan

May be some mistake is in your result from ICAI.

can u pls give your marks or might be some mistake in your calculation......

and are you cleared in all other subjects of both groups (if given)

 AGREED.

Minimum 40 and Aggregate 50

dat means we hav to scor min 40 in cost fm papr ... nd  min of 50 is nt req in costin fm papr

???????

^ yes u have to secure minimum 40 marks in each subject and you have to get an aggregate of 50% in each group respectively ...

Scenario 1: Appearing in single group

             1. minimum 40% in each paper (subjects like cos & fm are taken as single paper)

            2. minimum 50% of the total marks of that group

both the conditions are to be satisfied to be declared as passed in a particular group

Scenario 2: Appearing in both groups

1.minimum 40% in each paper (subjects like cos & fm are taken as single paper)

2.minimum 50% of the total marks of both the groups taken together (here have the advantage                of set off of excess marks of one group with the other if needed)

both the conditions are to be satisfied to be declared as passed in both groups

there is one more situation: satisfying the dual conditions in one group only and failed to pass a paper(<40%) in other group or failed to get the aggregate 50 % in that other group or not having sufficient marks in one group to set off in the other.
