Hi,
I don't think it was ever required. Board resolution was required to be filed but that has been exempted as per the Notification No. G.S.R 464 (E) dated 05-June-2015 issued by the MCA, , Private Limited Companies are exempted from the provisions of Section 117 (3) (g) of the Companies Act, 2013.
