Results of the CA Final Examination

That our profession is highly sought after is obvious from the fact that the number of candidates appearing for CA exams is increasing every year. A total of 18625 candidates appeared in both groups of which 2579 passed. There has been an increase in the number of students appearing for the exams by at least 4000 for each group as well as for both the groups compared to last years November exams. This is indeed good news and so is the fact that we are also keeping pace by increasing the number of examination centers every year. Currently we have 252 examination centers with more locations being allocated every year.

However, the results declared for the New Syllabus has not been encouraging. A total of only 9 students passed out of which only 2 students passed in both groups. I have constantly been reiterating that students should take their article training and the CA Course more seriously. Practical training would immensely benefit the students in their examinations as well as in gaining experience.

AGAR CA FINAL (NEW COURSE) RESULT KA YE HAAL HAI.........TO HAMARA .....PE2 / PCC KA KYA HAAL HO JAYEGA.

yr itne low result ka reason kya hai? i mean itz not dat students r not studing or doin dere trainin regularly n seriously den wat is d lacking point? who is responsible for dis kind of result dat only 2 students wer able to clear both d groups.

GUYS, thats why Indian CA has got so much respect than any other countries CAs...Mr. President, then the Vice President of ICAI told us in our campus programme, a talk which he had with Mr. President of CPA (US)...it goes like this " A PE2 cleared student of Indian CA can easily clear CPA US final exam, but a CPA Final cleared CA cannot even pass PCC/ PE 1 of ICAI".....this sentence was told by Mr. VED in a meeting with President of US CPA..................

In continuation with the above.,....

Inspite of all this, only 13% students got placed in ICAI campus program, and even historically the percentage was never as great as these statistics sound. And inspite of all this, we are no where close to getting the best salaries in the market, we are not a respected profession as well especially after Satyam episode and ICAI's action on the same.

Ive gone into the real world sir...people from your ICAI, who have been members since more than 3 decades have also been saying that ICAI has never been in such a bad state since inception. (this is something thats been happening since last 3-4 yrs).

I have my own reasons to do and not to do things and I am not answerable to you for that.

I am not here to show my hatred for ICAI and its members, but its the burning reality of ICAI and its profession.

If the monopoly will go away, ICAI will be an extinct race....it will suffer sumthin even worse than what has happened to BSNL after the entry of private players in telecom industry.

Respect by virtue of compulsion, by law is not respect earned.

If you all are talking about respect gained forecefully by virtue of provisions of Income Tax Act and Companies Act and other laws, I agree that CAs are respected.

But in terms of respect earned...I am sorry but I beg to differ.

Watever the situation is facing by the members but they must thankful to institute for providing them a degree of respect above all.... n only due to this degree they are living there livelyhoods in luxurious manner....
