Can a Practising CS or CA be appointed as Liquidator in Members Voluntary Winding Up? Whether any empanelment is required with some authority?

Dear Mr. Nirav Gala,
I am a Practising Company Secretary; Presently I am acting as Liquidator for three Companies under Members Voluntary Winding Up . Please note that there is no requirement for registration/ empanelment with any authority . Shareholders are to appoint the Liquidator by passing a Special resolution.
