If a Company has a habit of not actually conducting meetings BM/AGM for years now , should the CS insist on having an actual meeting or should he continue with on paper meetings?Does it reflect badly on the CS if actual meetings are not conducted?? If yes, how should he convince the Board of Directors?
It is a fact that meetings should be conducted in reality. But in case of closely held company paper meeting is a common thing so you cannot force management to have a real meeting.
So paper meeting is fine.
However as a CS it would be beneficial to have exp. of real meeting.
