Medium Firm Vs. Big Firm

if u want to excel in a particular field den go for a big firm but if u want to practice after becoming a C.A den go for a med size firm....

But wherever u do ur articleship just make sure u get appropriate tym for studies.....afterall studies is most imp......

you said you are planing to do job after CA.......so, according to me find the articleship in big one,

, the enviornment in which u work matter, since you get better and broad vision, work for the brand, have experience and if not comfortable.move tpmedium one.

in case of job security , if u work withj big four, chances to get better job will be more, since , they build the quality in you

According to me medium size firm will be better for knowledge. big firm name will give you to convenient to find the job. but wht if u r not able to perform job.

If you got the knowledge you can perform any job at any time & confidence on your own work.

decision will be yours, u want big firm name or knowledge.

i have worked with a small firm and currently i am working with big 4. What i have personally seen is that you get more work in big firm and there is much more than auditing in big four. There are lot of things which even u might not think of that  in small firms. One of my friend has rightly said that you even need to give time for ur studies so if u can manage then it is well and gud but the group and thngs whch u get in top 4 is uncomparable and some of the unique experinces. i wanted 2 know d procedure 4 getting into the top4 sometimes they dont even respond to the resumes n we r not even sure if they have received it or not..??

The bst way to get into Big 4 is apppying through one's friend who is already there into Big4. In addition to that job portals are also playing very good role in getting into biggies as Chartered Accountant.

i hav heard dat in big ones they put u in particular dept.. so dont u think it restricts even scope for other fields even in future..
