If company pay Medical allowance of Rs.16000/- to an employee.My question is whether Medical allowance is taxable in the hand of employee or not.And comapny will pay any FBT on that medical allowance.

Medical Allowance is fully taxable in the hands of the employee. Company is not required to pay FBT on medical allowance. If medical reimbursement is there, then company is required to pay FBT on that amount.
