MD appointment
Can a permanent director be appointed as MD. As per section 196(2) maximum tenure of a MD is 5 years. So is it possible to appoint him as MD?

Maximum tenure is 5 years only, however he can be reappointed again until he himself resign or Disqualified to become a MD (Like More than 70 age)
ans is no. because only WTD CAN BE MD and WTD CAN NOT BE PERMANENT DIR.

no section in c.a but while filling dir-12 for MD than its accept form only when u choose md as executive dir.
