May 2014 ca exam date sheet announced

sir , I know that th is no point in dicussing what I am going to ask but being a student out curiosity want to ask still thr is any chance for exam getting postponed???

It is obvious that the exams will not be conducted during election time(it is mentioned clearly in the notification that exams shall be postponed if it clashes with elections). So the actual question is- when are the elections going to be held? Our lok sabha elections take around one month..That means unless the election commences in the beginning of April itself, it is going to continue into May as well. And if it carries over to May, ICAI will be forced to postpone the exams. Exams will be held according to schedule only if the election starts at the beginning of April..& that seems pretty unlikely. Elections will most probably start in mid April. Anyways u can get a better idea about all this once the election dates are announced(which shall most probably be done in feb end).

In my opinion, exams shall be postponed-maybe to june or mid May.
