Which books is good for self study in case of Direct tax & Indirect tax of CA final exams schedule for may 2010 of the following
Direct Tax - T N Manoharan or Padhukas
IDT - Yogendra Bangar or Vaitheeswaran
Please revert urgently since i av to purchase books
Direct taxes manoharan is good.
IDT - Videeshwaran will be simple but be careful he wont give refereces to previous questions
Bangar book is very good but we have to eliminate few unnessary matter wich is not important

Can you tell which is the important topics in IDT.
nothing like important r nonimportant
but bangar is good and eliminate the unnecessary matters, but the past exams problems and some illustrations are missing in this edition and seperate book called complier for IDT from Bangar was also issued.
