I didn't understand the discussion actually... As far as the CA Student that I have got the last CA Final exam ( Old Syllabus ) would be conducted in Nov'09...I hope you people aren't discussing about the same...I request Abhishekh to kindly elaborate on the same point...

There is a rumor (?) about preponement of May-09 attempt. This means, if any student's attempt is May-09, he/she will be allowed to appear for the exams in Nov-08 or May 08. (Any one doesn’t know the reason why?)
So, friends, please don’t believe these rumors and go on your study. There is no official announcement of the same by our ICAI. And I don't think our Institute allows this type of preponement.

As Examination forms of Nov 2007 attempt has deposited now.
that's y may08 attempt can not be postponed to nov 2007
Our Institute has first decided to preponed the May 09 exams to Nov 08 but rececently I confirned it from ICAI that this provision was cancelled in the latest council meeting.
So dont worry.
There is nosuch offical announancement by icai

Last time appeared in CA final exam in May 2002 and now i am planning to apprear in May 2008. Do you know what would be the proceudre ? I just need to pass 1st group of final exams.
