Maximum working hours of article

As per latest CA Regulations, 1988, minimum working hours of an article assistant is 35 hrs per week. I want to know what is the maximum limit as there is no mention regarding maximum working hours in the regulations. Everywhere in CAclubindia, its written that an article cannot work beyond 35 hours, but that is not the case as per regulations. Please answer if anyone has any info regarding the matter so that I can calculate my compensatory leave as I am working beyond 35 hours almost every week....

in order to get proper and sufficient training regarding practical aspects of each field of ca a ca student is bound to undergo a MINIMUM 35 hrs per week as per icai and if actually worked more than that than u can claim such OT againt leave taken. For more read the manual provided to u while registering for ca-ipc. Stipend paid is generally in range 3k -5k which is also MINIMUM which is the max a ca can pay, but wen it comes to MINIMUM 35 hrs is only for formality in actual a ca article might be working more than 50 to 60 hrs per week.so plz make use of OT worked by u for securing no extension
