hello all,
as the CA act prohibits the CA's from publishing any type of advertisment or any type of solicitations of any nature or any media or any means what so ever, I want to know that weather the matrimonial advertisments given by a unmarried person who is a CA in matrimonial newspaper or website etc. and describing himself as a CA either in practice or job , is a violation of CA code of ethics or not.
I ask all the CA final students and/or other members of this forum to please reply to this.

soliciting clients is prohibited not marrige proposals but care must be taken that the advertisement is not such as would indicate or have effect of client soliciting. i e to say only mention as member /ca and whether engaged in practice/service can be thought appropriate and mention of facts unrelated to marrige should be avoided
