Maths role in becoming a ca

hello friends, this is my first time posting here, so forgive me if any mistakes. So, I'm planning on taking cpt exam next December but I have a major weakness which is my maths, everyone hates maths but I'm extreme like I got 32 in maths in SSLC (10TH) BOARD(overall 56?), on the other hand I'm very good at accounts and grasping accounting concepts, I got 97 in accounts in 12th (87% overall) so I'm little hesitant to take my step towards cpt. So my question is does maths play a major role in becoming a CA,or is it negligible, you have any tips for me., thanks in advance.

First of all forget the thing that "you are weak at maths" you are not at all weak if you can command accounting concepts you can even tackle maths. Its just a sense of confidence that is lacking. Now if you plan to go for cpt for quan section first focus on statistics and then proceed for maths part this will build up your confidence.. All d very best.
