find log25 base to 8 if log2=0.3010

You can write problem as

log25/log8

for Numerator part i.e. log25

log(100/4) = log100 (-) log4

log100 (-) log4 = 2 - 2Xlog2 => 2 - 2X0.3010 = 1.398

 

for Denominator part i.e. log 8

3 X log 2 => 3 X 0.3010 = 0.903

 

hence, log25/log8 = 1.398 / 0.903 = 1.548
