God is not a person who can provide physical care for a child. Without a carer such as the mother who can give food, milk, change nappies, deal with illnesses, teach the child to speak, play with him/her etc, the child would die.

If you are referring to Maa as a religious figure then it's wise for the child to be old enough to decide for him/herself which concept has the most relevance in his/her life.
