I have invested my LTCG amount in residential property less than a year. But I have a better option
of residence than the previus one (same amount)
I wanted to know if I can cancel the earlier one and re invest in the better flat ?

Yes, you can do so provided you have not filed your IT returns and have not filed TDS returns.
U/s 54 after claiming exemption assessee must hold the property ay least for an year to avail the exemption...
