Is there any way we can still report LTCG less than 1 Lac from equity sales (exempt income u/s 10(38) in ITR1 for AY 2019/20. This was available for AY 2018/19 but I dont see it in the form this year. ITR2 is a nightmare for a pensioner like me. IT deptt is just making life difficult for senior citizens.

NOT POSSIBLE.
Assesses having capital gains cannot file ITR1,
File ITR 2 . And that 1 lakh is now under section 112A
You should file ITR 2
