I have purchased new house two years ago and availed LTCG exemption under section 54F. Now i want to repay my outstanding home loan taken for the same house by selling my equity mutual funds
can i again avail section 54f exemption for repayment of home loan taken on the house?
No. Exemption u/Sec. 54F cannot be availed for property purchased two years earlier.
