I recently found a case in my company where an employee wants to claim LTA exemption for himself and his family where jouneys are performed separately by the employee and his family at different dates but for the same destination. Is it possible to allow LTA exemption for both the journeys as Act says exemption is allowed for both employee and his family.
yes, it will be allowed. Every employee can calaim LTA for himself & his family twice in a block of 4 years. Section nowhere specifies that journey should be together or seperately.
