hi,
wagering contact is illegal in India. So why lottery business is allowed in India?
please help,

Very good question asked by you but the answer is simple as this Section 30 of Indian Contract Act the Wagering contract are not illegal as you said they are void hence action against the same arising out of such consequenses cannot before the court of law the individual himself is liable for the same
