TDS 1432 views 1 replies

One of our employee is having two house properties. One is self occupied and other is let out. he has availed housing loan for both HPs. I want know whether our company can give him deduction for loss from let out house property and calculate and deduct tax accordingly. I know for self occuped the maximum permissible deduction is Rs.150,000/- and there is no such limit for let out house property. Please help me. thanks.

dont go indepth of such complications of his rental and loss, consider his one property which is self occupied, allow interest on that and deduct TDS

he is entitled to file ITR after his rental income, interest on 2nd property and other issues, coz everything is not in the control of employer, so he can file ITR and claim refund
