Looking for Articleship !!!

1) In my view, there won't be much significant impact because of your gap in between. As you already have passed IPCC 1st group, there won't be much problem to get articleship. But mostly they will ask you the reason, for which, you should be ready to answer that genuine question. As you already have done Mcom first year, this will be a plus point to you.

2) The main qualities looks for by any reputed firm in a student are good communication skills, subject knowledge, positive thinking, self-confident and leadership skills.

3) It is difficult to say that these are the questions that will be asked. However, mostly, you are expected to be good at Accounting Standards and general accounting procedures/transaction processes, Audit Standards, important sections in taxation, service tax and vat, and some knowledge on IndAS standards, working knowledge of Tally etc. These will help you to get good firm. Its good if you can make habbit of regular follower of CA Member Journal for various updates relating to our level and knowledge on other topics like XBRL etc.

And last but not least prepare your Resume in a professional way, because this is the first step that turns your life whether to enter into reputed firm or not. Most students are not getting even calls, because of their resume preparations. So make a better resume and be ready with subject knowledge. Also post your resume in naukri like sites and keep searching the websites of reputed firms to apply online and try to get references of your friends if they are working in a reputed firm. All the best.

Why you are thinking negative .......in other side your maturity and M.Com is beneficial for CA Firm even you heve right to take good stipend in your articleship.

hello every1. i have cleared my group1 in november 2010 and appeared for group2 in may 2011.Now i am searching for articleship in a good firm in delhi for this i have dropped my cv at many company's websites but there is no response from anywhere.if any1 knows about any other procedure to join the articleship please inform me.
