I have a query relating to the listing status of a company.
The debentures of the company which are privately placed are listed with NSE.But the equity shares are not listed.
So is there any need to change the CIN number of the company from "U" to "L".

Not required since equity shares are not listed. There are many NBFCs whose debentures are listed in BSE and NSE but not listed their equity shares in any of the exchanges. Their CIN Number starts with 'U'.
