Yes you can see my next on the same to how configure tally to connect with Excel 

I suggest you to try below free accounting software for your basic needs like inventory, priniting invoice etc.

1. Aquralite

2. Busylite

You can also directly export report to Excel within software.

Once you try it you will like to use it & sure not used pirated Tally..

Dear Mangesh you need to select stock option instead of ledger option while linking in excel 

Kindly tell how to enable odbc server in tally 9 & 7.2
