Taxable turnover likely to exceed five lakh during the financial year shall be liable to be registered or Taxable turnover exceeds forty thousand in any of the month shall be liable to be registered (Section 22/Rule 4.)

The dealer should apply for registration if taxable turnover exceeds the notified amount.
