28 November 2013I have passed my CS Professional exam in August 2013 and I am yet to complete my Articleship. But as of now I cannot go for Articleship for some reasons. So I was thinking of applying for Enrolment as Licentiate. Kindly tell me once I get enrolled as licentiate, what is the time limit to get registered for Articleship and what are my powers as licentiate?

The letter LCS can be renewed for a period of 5 years only.
The powers here, a licentiate is allowed to access the liabrary of the ICSI and write the letter LCS with his or her name........ for this every year you have to pay Rs.1000

Thanks a lot. Please clarify one more thing. It's written on the website that I need to submit following documents.
Copies of date of birth and graduation certificate or Foundation pass certificate duly attested by any member of the Council/Regional Council/Satellite Chapter of the Institute or any Officer of the Institute.
Does this mean I can get my docs attested by any company secretary?

No, u have to personally visit ICSI office and get the doc attested by its office bearer.
