Hello Guys,
My friend has recently cleared his IPCC and started with his articleship.He is an Life Insurance Agent since last 5 yeras,so will this creat any problem with articleship....??? is it necessary to disclose in Form 112 and if so will Institute permit for it...since it is no way an obstacle in articleship office hours....
please let me know as soon as possible..

If an articled assistant is engaged in any other business or profession then compulsorily ICAI's permission is required. so, for getting permission it is obvious that ICAI should be given knowledge of this fact.
If agency business is not during 11 to 6 then, ICAI may permit. Ultimately it is all that ICAI has to decide.So, we can't say anything surely.
Thx a lot But when i visited ICAI and made an enquiry i was told the same but the very next day when i asked another person in the institute who was solving evryone's query on the desk he told me it is must but lic agency is not allowed and therefore ICAI may ask me proof of termination of agency.....
so pls suggest i am having very less days to submit my form.....
