Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the tax liability on freight charges when purchasing goods from another state and using a Goods Transport Agency (GTA). The key factor is whether the GTA and the taxpayer are registered in the same state. If they are in different states, IGST is generally applicable. However, if both are in the same state, CGST and SGST should be paid.

IGST for the interstate transportation of goods by the GTA
If GTA and Taxpayer are from the same state then CGST and SGST should be paid.

In this connection they may pay IGST
As per my view cgst and sgst should be paid
As the receipent is being registered party and he being in other state PoS cannot be same state to charge CGST + SGST therefore it would be IGST transaction
