Liability of a director in Pvt Ltd Company

Hi,

I am an NRI investing in a Pvt Ltd company and I am new to corporate law.

I am exploring the possibility of joining as a director. I would like to know the liability for a director of a Pvt Ltd Company.

What other options are available for an investor in a Pvt Ltd Company?

Can somebody suggest intro books on Corporate Governance and Law?

Thanks a bunch.

Dear Friend

AS per corporate law and other related laws

A diretor is liable for penalities and in some cases also liable for penalties also its depend upon conflicts and other mistakes

so its better to take consultancy on regular basis from your PCS (Practising Company Secretary)
