Dear Sir,

            This has reference to the notice Inviting Tender vide No. 215/EE/Div/JT/2009-10 dated 11.08.2009.  The title of the Tender reads as under:-

“SUPPLY OF CHARTERED ACOUNTANT FOR MAINTAINING ACCOUNTS OF USOF PHASE-1 PROJECT”

            In the aforesaid title, we take very strong objection to the usage of the expression “Supply”.  Because, the chartered accountants render professional services and cannot be treated as a commodity.

            The usage of expression is highly derogatory and must be withdrawn with immediate effect and reissue the tender documents once again.

 May we request you to inform us about the action taken.
