I do ledger scrutiny by going to Trail & than take opening, transation, closing balance

ledger scrutiny is nothing but verification of balance s in trail balance and idividual gen ledger account s as well subledger balances
Has to be done systematically. For example if it's a ledger of a vendor, you have to check the purchases made and the payments corresponding with it. Sales - Receipt. How much amount is outstanding and against which bill.
