Leave Salary/Encashment
In case of leaving a job in private company, will exemption will be available in respect of Leave encashment? Not the case of retirement.

Exemption is available in your case dont worry
Since your retirement is from private company , leave encashment calculated as per sec 10 (10AA), is exempted. bal amt will be taxable
