Lease on shop
One of my client decide to lease his shop to a person for business, (2 lakh) now tell me here any GST act applicable or not , if yes means what is the next how much he should charge, please guide me.

As rent for a year exceeds Rs. 20 lacs then GST is applicable.. Rate would be 18%

The definition of supply include lease therefore GST applicable
if you are leasing from April 2019 then limit will be 40 lakhs
