Financial year 2015-16 or assessment year?

1.Can assessment year 2015-16 (FY 2014-15 { ie 1-4-2014 to 31-3-12015} Late return can indeed be filed now ? (in July 2017) ??

2.May be the assessee can file late return only for FY 2015-16 {1-4-2015 to 31-3-2016}(Assessment year 2016-17 ) with or w/o penalty now in July 2017??

3.File also simultenaously now current ITR for FY2016-17 {14-2016 to 31-3-2017} (assessment year 2017-18) before july 31st.

i am government employ .my TeX filling by TDS in salary .prob is not fii return fy 2015-16 and Assessment year 2016-17. I done online file filled yesterday .it is ok or not?

1. No.

2. Can file ITR for AY 2016-17, Generally no penalty levied

3. Yes , you can file simultaneously.

@ trivedi FY 2015-16 (AY 2016-17) you can file return upto 31 March 2018.
