Last date of payt of st in the month of october 2014

Even I was about going to post the same query what about TDS payment for Salary & Contractors also. If the date is not extended then today itself I need to close the accounts and make payment by tomorrow.

For TDS last date would be 7th only as the same is not a bank holiday. I am worried about service tax.

Well even if TDS last date is 07 its not advisable to do on last day. Yesterday itself i transferred provisional amount to Bank and today morning itself did epayment of Stax & TDS , now can enjoy the holidays without any tension. 

The payment is to be made mandatorily making use of Internet banking electronically from 01.10.2014. So clossure of banks on 06.10.2014 shall not have any impact on due date.You can make payment from your office/home using net banking without visiting any branch.I would advice to pay on or before 6th to avoid any interest consequences.

Though we can make payment from office or home but only if theres money in your bank account so now my query is that i dont have balance in my bank account so can you pls tell if i deposit money on 7th oct 2014 and pay on that date only (service tax payment) then whether i;ll be liable for interest as til 6th its bank holidays.
