Last Date for Waiving Off Condonation Fees

Considering the difficulties being faced by Students/Articled Assistants, in the online filing of prescribed applications Forms for various activities, ICAI has been further decided to extend the last date of waiving-off Condonation Fees from 28th February 2021 to 31st March 2021. Important Announcement

Amid the current situation arising out of Covid-19, it is observed that some of the Students, Articled Assistants, are still facing difficulties in online filing of prescribed applications Forms for various activities.

Further, delay in submission of online application Forms is attracting levy of Condonation Fee under the relevant Regulatory Provisions creating hardship for them.

ICAI further extends last date for waiving off condonation fees for CA students to 31st March 2021

Considering the difficulties being faced by such Students/Articled Assistants, it has been further decided to extend the last date of waiving-off Condonation Fees from 28th February, 2021 to 31st March, 2021. All transactions date falling between1st April, 2020 to 31st March, 2021 shall be considered. This period includes one-month prescribed time limit given in general.

The last date to avail waiver of Condonation Fees has been extended from 28th February 2021 to 31st March 2021.

Important Points:

This waiver applies to all transactions with dates from 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021 (including the usual 1-month prescribed time limit).
The extension aims to reduce hardship caused by late fee levies on delayed online form submissions.

What this means for students and articled assistants:

If you had a delayed submission attracting Condonation Fees during this period, you can now apply for the waiver till 31 March 2021.
It’s advisable to complete your filings by this extended deadline to avoid paying late fees.
