The Institute has come across a website on the Council/Regional Council Elections 2010. The said website has been created without the approval, authority or knowledge of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The creation of the website in the context of Election to the Council/Regional Councils 2010 and providing link to the official website of the Institute by that website is unauthorized and without the approval/authority of the Institute. The ICSI completely dis-associates itself from the said website and takes no responsibility with regard to the veracity or authenticity of the information, data, particulars or contents given on the said website.
Efforts are being made to identify the administrator/ creator of the website which has been protected by privacy protect.org. Appropriate action as per law will be initiated against the persons involved in creating the website as soon as their identity is established.
Members are advised to refrain from accessing the said website, relying on the contents of the said website in any manner or expressing their views or opinions on that website or using the Discussion Board or any other facility provided on that website.
Members are requested to access the official website of the Institute www.icsi.edu for official information including election related information.
