Job in banking sector

Hi all i am a CA Final Student cleared first group in Nov 2010 and waiting for the results for second group. I want to go in finance line for which i want to apply in various banks how can i apply for that.

I have cleared my pcc in following atttempts:

First group  - 4 th attempt

Second group - 2 nd attempt

and also this my 3rd attempt in CA final

Will i be able to get good job in banks.

U can enter the banking sector either through clerical route or through Probationary Officer (Scale -1) route by appearing for a competitive exam...The basic requirement for appearing for PO exam is graduation hence ur ca degree is not going to affect it...however it'll put effect in interview...as CA's generally dont appear at scale-1, ur attempts wont matter much their and ur CA degree will be in ur favour...

 

Now seperate exam for each bank is going to be abolished and in coming days a common bank exam will  be introduced for all banks (except SBI & ASSOCIATES)..Keep a look for it, and do brush up ur GK, Maths, English & reasoning if u want to appear for it.

 

Besides above CA' s are directly recruited at Scale-2 as specialist officers, hence there ur degree will directly come into play as u will compete with professonals only...
