Jealousy comes in our minds when we believe that our achievements are inferior to others.This leads to disliking others and having prejudiced comparisons.This further leads to preventing us in appreciating others and also learning from others' good qualities.Such prejudiced and negative comparisons lead into the mind trap.Mind trap leads us to such a situation that we start seeing ourselves as superior to others simply because we cannot accept others better than us.
