yup.. good teacher heard a lot abt him... u can go ahead... also study from pm and rtp to get excellent marks in sfm

I have also used JB sir's book and DVD and found them very useful. He explains each and every concept in detail .For theory part and mor practice you may refer module and /or practice manual manual e.g.praticle example on factoring etc.also one more thing is the sequence of topics in JB sir's book and institute module is different.I would suggest to follow JB sir's book ,since it is easy to understand .best of luck.

Thank u Pranav.

I Really want to score vry well in this subject, will it be possible wid JB sir's content ?

As far as i am concerned ,I would say that it depends on your conceptual clarity because at the end in exam you have to apply your logic,no matter how many examples you solve or which book you refer .JB gupta is good .you should preferably study small topics first .they are valuation ,merger and acquisition ,dividend decisions ,lease decisions and many more.because large topics like apital budgeting, portfolio etc.take much time and they are difficult also, iam not saying not to study them.but if you do small topics first you will get confidence and interest in the subject.
In my opnion jb gupta will be sufficient.but if you want u can go through other books like sd bala etc.but stick to one book only.if you buy dvds then buy jb sir's book only.conceptual clarity is important .do not ignore theory.institute comes with a different style paper every attempt.see nov.2014 paper.more waitage was given to not so difficult chapters .no question on derivatives.do not get confused in topics like forex .revise timely.take others advice who have studied from sd bala etc.every author is good.take an informed decision . The best part of Dvds of jb sir is that one can repeat it manytimes .this is good for revision .best of luck.

Don't buy it unless you have tremendous patience. I have tried it and wasted 2000 Rs.

He just takes a stick in his hand and reads out the matter written i his text book with no expressions on his face. You will fall asleep after 15-20 mins.

His book is good but not the videos. If u want, just see a demo on youtube and check for yourself.

One more thing. All his videos are 3 years old and not updated with latest paper trends.

Its better if u try Sanjay Sarf of some other faculty who is taking regular classes and makes the subject interesting.
