ITV Ack Receipt not received even after 28 days

I have efiled my return on 15th July 2009 and sent the ITV duly signed on 17th July 2009.

After 10 days of waiting for receipt I called the Banglore call center number. They said they have received the ITR on 21st July 2009. But I havent got the receipt on email till date. Its not showing even in my PAN card login at efiling website.

I even sent a second copy of ITR-V signed on 5th August.

I have even called the delhi income tax sampark kendra and even shpoke to local Income Tax Public Officer but they are clueless about it.

The 30 days time limit is about to expire within 2 days. Please let me know what am I suppose to do ?

You can check the status by loging in on the website and see E-filing Process Status.

In one of my clients case the department received it on 05.06.2009 and they sent email on 10.07.2009 i. e. after 35 days from receipt.

same case with me I filled my ITR on 07/07/2009 also they received on 13/07/2009. I have not received Acck. that is not showing in my account and not received e-mail also. I Have the three time more after that. but no e mail from them

I received my receipt today.

Here is what I did :

1. send an email to efiling.administrator @ incometaxindia.gov.in giving your pan card, ack no, date of filing, etc and that you have not received any receipt till date.

2. after 2 days forward the email you sent at above id to ask @ incometaxindia.gov.in telling them that you had emailed efiling.administrator @ incometaxindia.gov.in about your problem and you did not receive any reply so please do the needful.

3. call their delhi call center 124-2438000 and tell them you had sent your complain to first efiling.administrator @ incometaxindia.gov.in and since you did not receive any response within 2 days you sent it to ask @ incometaxindia.gov.in

that is the procedure. all emails that you directly send to ask @ incometaxindia.gov.in will be ignored unless first you send it to efiling.administrator @ incometaxindia.gov.in

Also, dont resend the ITR-V if they confirm that they have received it. It will be ignored.
